EDWARD NIGHTINGALE

I really like his photography as the theme seems to be urban life. Throughout the images, we see some sort of gang, vandalising public places, perhaps proving a point through their art. I like the edit and colour of the images. The highlight and shadow creates this vintage/old effect to the photography, and the faded look with grain adds to effect. I also like the blurred face effect, hiding the identity of the people and portraying the live/ fast paced action.

From the music video 'Miss Jackson' by Panic! At the Disco, the shaky/blurry face effect (fast motion editing of head shaking?) reflects the idea of distortion of identity, the feeling of confusion and puzzleness? and perhaps a possession of some sort of evil spirit. I want to create something like that, along with the lines of 'being a robot' as the lyrics of 'Gasoline' suggests. The urban areas are normally considered as a place where something bad happens so maybe I could use the urban location of London to portray the stereotype. I also would like to add a scene of destruction, from either the character herself, or a place, again, to represent her mind.
