
Since this music video is targeted at a specific audience, I need to find out what they want. I sent this around to on social media, especially the fan accounts, so that they can past it on for their followers to do.




I started the questionnaire on the 25/09/15 and closed it on th 5/10/2015. I have recieved 56 entries from around the world. I have put the results of the quantitative results down below, along with analysis and will put the qualitative answers further down the page.

The majority of people who watches Halsey are female. This may not be a very accurate answer because it may not have been distributed as well therefore, showing that around 84% of the audience I have questioned is of the female gender.

The most popular age group is 12-15 with 16-19 the next one. From this, we can say that the majority of the audience is teenagers. Since my target audience are teenagers, I will further this questionnaire/audience research by interviewing people of my age.

It was a close call between 'Ghost' and 'New Americana.' The reasons were the narration and the colours in both of those videos. People also responded with how anti-stereotypical both music videos were, because of the homosexual relationships and the variation of the races.

Even though the majority of the audience I interviewed were from the US or UK, I will have to make sure that this M.V. will get to everyone, and publicise to specific countries more.
